Bridging research and industry – innovation through collaboration
How can regional networks from academia and industry jointly drive innovation? The latest issue of GIT Laboratory Magazine explores this question, using nanodiag BW as an example. On pages 8–9, the article illustrates how the Future Cluster combines scientific excellence with entrepreneurial expertise to develop new diagnostic methods based on nanopore technology.
At the heart of these efforts lies a shared goal: to enable the early detection and personalised treatment of oncological and neurodegenerative diseases. Supported by the Future Cluster Initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space nanodiag BW has been filling this framework with life, ideas and technological progress for almost three years.
